Hottest Coldest Highest Deepest

This book is perfect for a Geography lesson! The illustrations are absolutely beautiful! The book talks about some of the most extreme places on earth and gives a short and comprehensible summary that most young children would be able to understand. It goes to the Highest, the Deepest, the windiest, the Coldest, the Snowiest, the Rainyist, the list just goes on! It even goes into more detail in a smaller blurb in a different area of the page. The illustrations are wonderful as I said before, they were done using paper collage. Like I said this would be a perfect lesson in Geography and the extremes of the world. You could get the class to, after reading the title, guess what some of the other extremes might be. Even just reading it and having them do an activity with the places in the book would be fun!
